WEDDING FAQ
How far in advance do you book?
Typically I book 12-18 months in advance, but please contact me at any time to check my availability!
How many photos can we expect to receive?
I typically deliver around 80 to 100 individually edited images per hour of coverage but every wedding is different. It is my goal to capture your day fully and authentically, leaving nothing important out!
How long until our photos are ready?
I always send a preview collection within 2-weeks of your wedding with lots of my favorites from the day. Nothing makes me happier than seeing you share these images right after the big day! Delivery time for the full wedding is around 6-8 weeks.
Can we add more time if our wedding is running behind schedule?
Absolutely! I will never go home without your approval (and hugs & Boomerang). If you need me to stay longer, I’m there!
Do you have a second shooter?
I do! If you want a more minimal package, I am completely comfortable and happy shooting solo for weddings that are around 150 guests and smaller but no matter what, the option to add my second shooter is always there!
What about destination weddings? Do you travel?
Absolutely! Topping my wish list right now is a fall wedding in Joshua Tree, a sandy elopement at Great Sand Dunes National Park !
Can we see a full wedding gallery?
Yes! I’d love to show you a wedding in it’s entirety. Shoot me a message and I’ll send you some links!
We don’t know what we’re doing… will you coach us?
Posing (without letting you look ‘posed’) is something that I’m super passionate about! So you’re in good hands, I promise!
What is an “online gallery” & how does it work?
I use an online photo sharing site called Pixieset to send you your final images. You will receive a link to your gallery, which contains your high resolution image files. You can download the whole gallery or individual photos, and you can download both high resolution (perfect for printing) and web resolution (perfect for emailing/posting to social media) images. You can also share the gallery link with friends and family! It’s a simple way to share your wedding images with your mom, your best friend, or a guest who couldn’t make it to the wedding.
What is a “print release”? And will I own copyright to my images?
No, I will retain the copyright to the images, but don’t worry at all–you will still receive a print release, which means you have the rights to reproduce the images at the photo lab of your choose.
Or, you can order prints through your online gallery! I use a professional photo lab accessible only to professional photographers.I want to make sure your photos look their very best and last a lifetime, and printing through a professional lab is the best way to do that.
We want to book you and reserve our date! What do we do?
Woot woot! All you need to do is sign an electronic agreement and pay the 30% non-refundable retainer. Once those steps have been completed, BAM! I'm all yours & your date is officially booked! The remaining payment is due 30 days before your wedding! Everything I do is all online, on my secured booking system, Honeybook. It makes life super simple, for both of us. I take credit cards, checks, and more! :) or if you prefer Venmo or Paypal, I got you :)
